IN LOVING MEMORY OF 2018 GUEST INSTRUCTOR MARIO MORETO

Mario's dancing thirst started at the age of 15. At 17 he joined the military and that took him to Alasks where he joined the Ritmovida dance team with Katya Kuznetzova & Stephanie Griffin. In 2005 he moved back to New York and immediately started working at the Arthur Murray Dance Studio in 3 different studios between Yonker, White Plains & Greenwich, CT. His first competition was in 2008 in the World Salsa Championships where he placed in 4th place, followed by a showcase competition in Mystic, CT where he placed in 3rd and is now following his dream of competing in the Rising Star Championships all over the Northeast. Backed by 13 years of teaching for Arthur Murray, Mario has proudly returned to Alaska 5 times for ASF. “Every year I have take away something new and special. I hope everyone is eager for a great time, because I definitely am!”
